Okinawan Kenpo – A blended style of Martial Arts based on Okinawan combat techniques. Okinawan Kenpo was used to protect villages from invasion - the Okinawan’s main weapons were their bare hands and feet. Many of Hamilton Martial Arts’ Katas and strikes are taken from this style.

Torite Jutsu - The pressure point fighting art. This system uses strikes to specific points on the body, the same points used in acupuncture, to produce various devastating effects to an attacker. Our lineage to Torite Jutsu is through Grandmaster’s Rick Moneymaker and Tom Muncy, Grandmaster George Dillman, then back to Grandmaster Seiyu Oyata. Hamilton Martial Arts instructors are fortunate to have been trained in the sacred and secret techniques of this art that were only taught to the old masters most trusted senior students. Torite Jutsu provides you with the skills and knowledge to knock out an aggressor very quickly.

Small Circle Jujitsu - Small Circle Jujitsu is a Martial Arts style taught at our school that was created by Professor Wally Jay. Master Chris Stinger has had the privilege of training with Grandmaster Jay, whose style is based on ten principles, flowing from movement to movement, and specific wrist actions. Small Circle Jujitsu can be combined fluidly with many other disciplines.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu – A Martial Art style founded by the Gracie family of Brazil. The objective of this grappling system is to seek an advantageous position over your opponent. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is usually performed on the ground where it has proven to be most effective. Using off-balancing techniques, takedowns, joint locks, chokes, strangles, and elbow and knee strikes, you will learn to impart the most damage on an attacker with the least amount of damage to yourself. Our school has incorporated this style into its combat grappling teachings. Hamilton Martial Arts Instructors continue to train with actual members of the Gracie Family.

Taekwondo – This Korean Martial Art is distinguished from others by its vast array of kicks, some of which can be high-flying and acrobatic. Our school uses some of the kicks from Taekwondo and incorporates them into our teachings.

Karate – Open or empty handed fighting. An Oriental art of self-defense in which an attacker is disabled by crippling kicks and punches.

Jeet Kune Do Concepts - The training methods and techniques originally developed by Bruce Lee. Jeet Kune Do incorporates the four ranges of a street fight: the boxing range, the kicking range, the clinch fighting range, the ground fight. Bruce Lee studied many styles and eventually developed a philosophy using methods from the many systems that he learned. These methods were what he believed to be practical and effective with no wasted motion.

Filipino Martial Arts - The Martial Art Style developed in the Philippines originally used to train villagers in a short period of time for combat against other villages and foreign invaders. Filipino Martial Arts consists of empty handed fighting and weapons fighting, however, Hamilton Martial Arts uses mostly the combat weapons fighting components. We teach stick and knife fighting based on the effectiveness and simplicity of the Filipino Martial Arts.

Progressive Fighting Systems - At Hamilton Martial Arts, we are honored to represent and train in the system known as Progressive Fighting Systems (PFS). PFS is a worldwide organization dedicated to the exploration and teaching of realistic self-defense. PFS was formed over 14 years ago by internationally renowned Jeet Kune Do Instructor Paul Vunak.
